Thank you SR, from the bottom of my heart. I thank you for every single day. My journey began here and because SR exists, I have a life, a great life today and I have such absolute freedom, I am not a young man and still I had no idea that life such as the one I now live was possible.

So thank you SR. Thank you Morning Glory and Doug and all the Mods and Greeters, especially the wonderfull Anna, always there and always direct and kind and thank you to everyone else as your what makes this forum.

Such a lovely thing to say & so true. When I first started to read the posts, through an alcoholic haze, I had no idea what this community would come to mean to me and the part everyone would play in my sobriety. I had no intention of actually quitting, but each day I felt stronger & more encouraged because of what I read here. May I join Kevin in saying a heartfelt thankyou. Joanie

Well...darn it...I'm 76 years young...and, I'm ever so grateful to the gal who steered me here when I was trying to start up a chat board called "Friends of Bill W." She happened to be the only member I attracted...guess all the other alkies were already members of SR.
