The very fact that you were questioning whether or not to go this early in sobriety "told you something"...and, you answered your own question, with a lot of reinforcement by others here.

There is a lot of that "24-hour virus" going around. Maybe, you'll be over it in time to take your friend out to a nice alcohol-free lunch on Sunday, assuming she/he isn't too hung-over.

Ahhh another Sober Sunday :-)
Thanks again everyone, although I think I jinxed myself with all that flu talk! Woke up with a headcold. Better then a hangover though, lol.
I'll be sure to post freaking out with the next event. I thought the neediness would go away with sobriety, when infact its much worse!
