1 Month To Me, Yip Hee!
1 Month To Me, Yip Hee!
Hi Everyone,
1 Month sober, pretty pleased.
Many thanks to this place and all the people posting their thoughts and help.
I`ve had my moments of craving drink and bad anxiety attacks along the way. It`s very hard battling with the thought of not drinking again. But the positives are HUGE in comparison.
But my thoughts are going out to maybe anybody reading this and thinking that they can`t do it. I was there one month ago, down, depressed, crying, no hope and generally not happy with what I had become. It`s still early I know.
Be strong and there is a brighter, cleaned and happier life for everyone out there. We all deserve one!!
Good luck

Well done
I'm on day 23 and my life seems just as crap as when I was drinking - but at least I'm not in stupor most of the time and can do something about it (and I save money, and I'm not killing myself, and I'm not getting fat consuming 1000+ calories a day in booze).
For some people (me, for example) quitting drinking does not change their life - but at least it gives them a good chance to change their life for the better.
