Because nobody wants to spend their Thanksgiving weekend watching the "Whiner Thread" and counting the whines before they set up part 2. Did you notice Anna didn't even whine about having to do that? Didja Huh?

'Scuse me, I just wanted to start Part 2 out with a really good wine. :mock

AND....we got our first big snow here today and it really is ugly out there. People forget how to drive in winter...whine....so I am staying indoors.

I'd like to say thanks to Rusty for starting this thread. It's taken my mind off of my troubles and shown me that I haven't lost my sense of humor & it's ok to be silly and laugh again. This is serious business, but it doesn't have to be all doom & gloom, a bit of light-heartedness does wonders. (My regrets weigh me down terribly - hey, is that a whine??) If it weren't for SR I'd most likely be on my 5th or 6th cup of "loaded" holiday punch with drinking into the wee hours, most likely not drawing a sober breath until well into the new year - that's the way it went the last few years. I have nothing to whine about today. Wait i take that back. Now that I'm sober and i got up in time to see the thanksgiving parade in NYC on TV. It SUCKED. Big Time. Too much singing crap and not enough parade.

(((Dee))) The table legs wobbled and the pie crust was burnt. The turkey was dry and the gravy was lumpy....the green beans were overcooked and we ran out of pumpkin pie. Mom got all teary eyed at having the family all together sober and clean, and she shed tears that fell into the mashed potatoes. You didn't miss much, man.
