Gotta share my 18th year sober with somebody

Today, November 12, 2007 is my birthday, this earmarks 18 years sober! I am feeling a bit lonley and just joined this site today..

Welcome, Happy Birthday, and Congrats on 18 years.

This is my first attempt, and I made it a whole 5 days. Actually I drank 3 non-alcoholic beers today, but in my book, that counts.

Please keep posting, maybe share some stories of hope. I just found this site 6 days ago, and feel like I have soooo much support here. Every single day on the newcomers forum you will find people just joining and trying to quit. It really is a BIG problem.

You are an inspiration for those of us just starting - pat yourself on the back. And don't be a stranger. We're all in it together.
