Hi and Welcome back!

So, do you know why you started drinking again and how you can do things differently this time?

Good for you for coming back!

I don't know. I have done this before - sober up for a while and then go back to the bottle. I get to thinking I have it licked. I am going back to AA tomorrow to pick up another beginner's chip.

Sorry to hear of your relapse - but I'm glad you made it back to us.

Well - hopefully when denial rears it's ugly head the next time, you'll make different choices. I understand how hard it can be. I relapsed twice through the years, each time after 2+ years sober.

Welcome back.

I am laying in bed withdrawing.....muscle tics and spasms. Nothing anywhere near as bad as my last time, but I told myself I would never do this to myself again.

I am an idiot.

I will check in tomorrow on day 2.

You're an idiot? Then join us on the Bottoms thread - not as busy on the weekend, mind, but we call ourselves idiots on that thread - in the nicest possible way.
Come hang with us and share what you're going through sometime.

Well, that just sucks!!! Good news is, you can get those 8 months and a whole lot more!!!! Don't beat yourself up, you came right back...every relapse I had (and I had a few) took me out for a year or more......I am pulling for you.

dgills-

I'm glad you're able to make it back. So many don't make it.

Glad to hear you're going to a meeting.

Hope you are feeling better. I always figure that I am just one beer away from that life of hell. Just making it one day at a time.
