Feel Inferior?
I came across this quote today:
"No one can make you feel inferior without your consent.”
It's something that Eleanor Roosevelt said and it's something that I think is an issue for many addicts. Many of us grow up in homes where we don't get the unconditional love we all deserve and we feel bad about ourselves. I used to feel unworthy of everything good. What I didn't realize was, that the energy I was giving off was so negative. And, it attracted negativity to me.
I wish I had known then, that I had a choice to not feel bad about myself. Thank God, I know that now.
