Welcome Chris! If you have done it before you can do it again. Acceptance is key. No looking back...I understand the driving drunk...the guilt is enormous. If you don't drink those nightmares will never happen, you will never be responsible for the death of a innocent person. For me, this alone is a big enough gift. No more guilt and shame, that equals freedom.

I honestly am going to try using just my faith and the love I have for others. This alone I know will get me through this once and for all.

welcome Chris!! i completely understand what you're going through. coming here and talking to these wonderful people has definitely played a huge role in my not picking up a drink. keep us posted on your progress!!
