Cool How long can you be a newcomer to recovery?

Cos this is the best forum out of them all and I don't want to stop posting in it just because I've been here a while, so I won't...

Newcomer for life!

Seems to me that I'm just as close as anyone else to taking my next drink. I hope I'll always be a newcomer!

I'm still a newcomer - and that's the way I like it - keeps it fresh!

And yeah - we are all the same distance away from a drink - an arm's length, and/or 24 hours.

Remember remember the fifth of November
Gunpowder, treason and plot.
I see no reason why gunpowder, treason
Should ever be forgot...

Some chap tried to blow up the houses of parliament in London, many, many years ago - so in the UK we celebrate the date (no idea why ) by setting off fireworks and lighting fires and sparklers...

In the centre of the fire there is usually a straw man (although he can be made of anything these days, I saw a polystyrene one once that lasted only a few seconds) and he is called the 'Guy', as in Guy Fawkes - the man who failed to blow up the houses of parliament, in London, many, many years ago...

EDIT - No snacks, unless you bring your own...
