As long as I remain "teachable", which I hope will be forever! There's always something to learn here...newbie or oldtimer...let's hope we never think we "know it all"!!!
Hey, we could have one heckuva bar-b-que on Guy Fawkes Day...a shame to waste all that fire just to honor some guy who was pretty much a failure at his chosen task! I'll bring the ribs!!!

When I was new into recovery, someone with 30 days sober seemed like an old timer!!!! It has been a few 24 hrs. since my last drink, and I suppose...to someone just entering into the program, I might seem like the "old timer"...HOWEVER, one of the people I get a ton of experience, strength and hope from has 42 years sober!!! , that lets me know, I will always be a newcomer...so I just keep coming!!!
