I'm about ready to get my buns over to the school for the rolls. I just got my parent email list a few minutes ago. What does anyone think about this before I start sending it out? Any changes you'd make? Where's DEE when you need an editor!!!
As some of you may or may not know... I am this years room parent for 2nd grade. I'd prefer email communications over playing phone tag so I hope this method of coordinating classroom activities is acceptable to all. You won't be part of a mass email list so be assured your email address is only being seen by me.
In the event of school closings you will, of course receive that early morning phone call we all love, so don't worry about that.
This years first class party is coming up next week already (Halloween is on Wednesday the 31st). Please reply back and let me know what your child would like to contribute to the party so I can try and be somewhat organized about this. Ms. Teacher likes things to be kept simple and not elaborate so no need to go crazy.
If there's something that you consistently like to send in for parties, please let me know as this will make it easier to plan. For example, I like to bake so I usually send in cupcakes or cookies.
