hello all! well its been a long time since my last visit. needless to say i had a hard time stopping the drinking and druging. but..... i finally decided i didnt want that crap to run my life anymore and checked myself into treatment. i can honestly say i was scared as hell my first day in there. didnt know what to expect or how i would react. after the 10th day there i was so happy to be there i was amazed. i now know what i need to do. work my steps and go to meetings everyday. i used to hate the thought of going to meetings. now i look forward to them. i personally think if your going to make it. go to meetings. ive met so many nice people there and building new friendships everyday. i would always think people there would look at me differnt. but you know what i found out? we all share the same problems. and its nice to have people support you and listen and share there experiances with you. today i have 30 days sober. i worked much too hard to give that up. when they say one day @ a time they really mean it. dont look farther than today. today you need to stay sober tomarrow will come and you take that one day at a time also. im in the process of getting a sponser. there are two guys i really can relate to i just need to make a decion. i will do that today after work. my life has changed so much these past 30 days. im more confadent with myself and ive learned to forgive myself and believe an god again. most important i love myself. i didnt do that for who knows how long. ok enuff rambling just wanted to say im back and happy to be here again. jason
