well im starting over.

Well im not exactaly a newcomer, i have been here before and people have helped me get through the good and bad times, and i thank you all for that... well for the last 2 months i kinda fell of the wagon, got back into my old habits even harder then before.

But this time i want it to be the end, im now 15 days clean and doing everything one day at a time. So hopefully i can talk to you all again soon, and i hope that i can stay sober a lot longer now.

Thanks,

Cory

Hi Cory! My thoughts and best wishes are with you. Congrats on the clean time, and welcome back! I'm pretty new myself (Day 28) and I'm loving the support here too!

Falling off the wagon is forgivable. It makes it sound like an accident so it's a little more O.K.
If you were to substitute the words "Made a Conscious Decision to Drink" instead things are a little different. Now the ball is on your side of the net and it's up to you to decide what to do with it. I know it's difficult and I am not judging criticizing or condemning. It's not even something I am telling you. I'm giving you a new set of words to use next time the temptation arises. It's something to tell yourself. Especially when this is a program of honesty.
