Well said, Jon...you must have been reading my mind!

Laciemae...5 days is a biggie...actually the length of time for most detoxes...so, now comes the "easy part"

SR is here for you 24/7, and the doors of AA will always be open to you, if you decide to "take the plunge". That's often when a lot of folks resort to those scarey old meetings...when it's sink or swim time.

Hi Ann,

I think your mouse needs to stop drinking too! He looks real paranoid to me.

Even if you aren't into AA right now you may benefit from this. I'm assuming since you're not into AA, you don't have a Big Book, so I pasted a chapter here.

Have your Husband read it and see if it will help him to understand that it's not just a matter of self control and will power. It may keep the digs to a minimum too.

Just Reporting In! Sunday and still sober! I know I am gonna make another day now. Sat hubby said I was doing so good all week, I deserved a nice dinner out. We went to Park City. Utah and had a wonderful dinner! Hubby had plenty to drink on Friday night and I didn't want to contend being around it so I went to bed instead. Today I feel like I could sleep all day - - is that part of this too? It's been a week now Thanks every body for your kind words. Thanks Pinkcuda for the chapter - -no I don't have a big book, but I will print out and read right away.
