Thank you guys. My sponsor wasn't able to make it last night, but that's all right. My husband was with me. He also shared last night at my group. He made me want to cry listening to him share. He told them he's so proud of me and that he's not going to be my enabler anymore. LOL

I know the feeling honey but after awhile it does come back. After Brent died I would litterally lose my mind everytime someone said God's will or some such CRAP....but now that I have had time and could distance myself a little bit from my emotions I realized it was his will....that is the true hard part......accepting God's will.................if that didn't just come from a PK................lol
Just take it a Day at a time Barb things will turn around just remeber if your praying then he's listening just watch for your answers.....it may not be what you want but it will be what he wants for you!:praying

Hi everyone, 
I haven't wrote on here since Monday. I've been reading and posting on other peoples threads.
I'm still doing good. I'm actually starting to get into service work. For the month of Nov. I'm the coffee maker at one of the groups i go too. I'm also chairing at my home group tomorrow night. I'm a little nervous about that. Especially only being 34 days sober. We have a small group and only 3 active members counting myself. The one girl won't be there tomorrow so the other girl asked if i would. So, I'm really jumping in I guess. It's actually good for me so I don't run away again like i did years ago. Take care everyone.

Hi Everyone, I had a good day today. I went shopping today and bought $50 worth of stuff that I needed for the house. I haven't shopped in a very long time.
Tonight i chaired my home group meeting. I felt a little funny doing it. There's a lot of sobriety there and here's little old me with 5 weeks. But they wanted me to do it and I didn't say no. This must be service week for me. I'm also going to be making coffee on Tuesday at another meeting i got to.
I'm so glad I'm back in the rooms. My life is starting to get better. I feel like I'm living again. The sick thing is I do wish i could still drink. But i know i can't or I'll be back in h*** again. This is the better way to be.

Yep, I know K. I haven't wrote here in a couple of days again. I've been writing to a lot of the new people here and trying to keep up with other threads.
But I'm doing good. I'm on day 39 today. I'm getting into service work now at my local groups and doing everything I'm supposed to do. I'm getting together with my sponsor in a couple of weeks to go over my step work. I can't believe how my life is now. It's truly a miracle.

Thanks guys. I couldn't have done it without you either. 
I wasn't on last night... I watched my "Ghost Hunters" live on the Sci-Fi channel. It was only live on the East coast this year. I don't know why. It was excellent.
