Hi everyone, I feel kind of crappy today. I didn't want to get out of bed today. I finally got out of bed an hour and a half ago. I read my meditation and prayed, so hopefully that helps. Then i had my lunch.

I hate feeling this way. Yesterday was such a good day then today i get up feeling like this. But I'm not going to drink over it. It's not worth it. I'll just be miserable and know that it will pass eventually.

I just wanted to share this with everyone, and writing it down helps too.

Barb

Feelings dont kill us is my favourite cliche today.

Hi Guys, Feeling a lot better now tonight. I went to my meeting and that helped talking about how I felt today. The topic was "This to shall pass". It helped a lot.

Hi guys, I'm busy, busy, busy today. I have a lot going on today and tomorrow. I'm still sober, the the first thing on my list (daily).

Today I'm making plans for a sober thanksgiving. My sister invited all of my husbands family over (which shocked me). So i called all of them up today. It looks like it might be a go. We're having a easier, softer way kind of thanksgiving. We're getting catered. LOL We've done it before with my husbands family. It's really good too. You get everything. The turkey, all the trimmings, and a couple of pies. Yummy.

Tomorrow, I'll be busy most of the day. So i won't be on later tonight and most of tomorrow. My sponsor is picking me up early tomorrow morning. We're going to a meeting first, then out to breakfast, then over to her house to go over my 1st step. So i don't know when I'll be back. So i wanted to let everyone know so you wouldn't wonder where i was.

Barb

GT- Actually haven't had time do any. I've been busy with some other projects on the computer. I just downloaded my 1st journal on to a CD last week, I still write on my journal. now I'm on my 2nd journal. I also like to make CD covers for my husband after he gets music from i-tunes. Now, I'm busy planing my holidays and getting things done. I have to do it earlier because it stresses me out in the stores when Dec comes. Even when i drank i started shopping in Oct. LOL

And I go to my meetings at least 5 times a week and come on here everyday and read my AA books everyday.

Wow you're busy scaredy ! Busy is good for you + the meetings. I'm glad you're still doing your journal though... I know how much you like to write.

*I hate Christmas shopping but I usually do wait until the minute every year.

my grandmother’s the same. I think the reasoning behind this is that at the last supper Jesus and his appostols were 13.

I’m not trying to be funny, but have you ever had an assment for ADD? I easily loose concentration too. I’d like to think I have ADD but I’ve never been diagnosed as such.

I assume you’re running Windows. Go to Start > Programs > Accessories > System Tools > Character Map. Once their in the character map you’ll be able to copy and paste all the signs you want.

Have a nice evening.
P-S: Have you had your thyroid checked yet? And did you get them windows in the end?

Hi Aldo, that's OK you missed my thread. A lot of people do it seems like. LOL

Yep, we got our windows. I think i wrote it on this thread somewhere.

No, I never got my thyroid check yet. I have some friends in AA up here on my butt about it. So I have to get a apt. with the Dr. before i see them on Sat. or I'll be in trouble. LOL

I don't think i have ADD. I've never had any past counselors say that. I've had a bunch of other things though.

Barb

Hi everyone, I've been in a weird mood lately. I don't really feel like socializing with anyone. I've just been lurking here a lot lately.

Sorry i haven't posted on some of you guys threads lately. I feel like I have nothing to offer. But I have been reading your threads.

I don't have much to say. I just feel empty today. Hopefully it gets better.

Barb
