What I need to do is find one close to my house after 10:30. I usually get off the bus and walk right by the bar I usually go to ( used to go to ) and I think it would help me to just walk right past it.
That tends to be a problem sometimes because of course everyone there knows me and I keep telling them not tonight. Maybe if I just said I don't drink they wouldn't ask. I don't know, I just worry too damn much about what other people think I guess.
I need to find a different route home is what I need to do.

Hi gang!
Wish I could've been around more today, the Ra ma da ma yo fo shizzle stuff has me in hysterics! Sadly the company I work for actually expects me to work for a paycheck this week:-(
Don't they know that the Promises say that fear of people and financial insecurity will leave us? Ha ha ha ha ha.

Loomer......I think most alkies care too much what others think. I think this is the "fear of people" that the BB talks about. But the promises say that will leave us. (just like what Astro wrote above me)
Maybe you could find a different route home. And I just bet that you could find a meeting to go to every day.

Loomer, I love ya man, so please don't take this personally.
I can take 20 different routes home and every dang one of them has a liquor store, bar, conveniance store, or someplace I could buy liquor if I pulled in. But nobody forces me to steer my truck into any of those places. I have the power to walk or drive by them and so do you.
There's one thing I share so often that everybody's probably sick of hearing it: Nobody has ever died from not taking another drink. Not ever. Period. Seriously.
