Not drinking today (hooray!)

Feel kinda dead and drained - as if recovering from a serious illness.

I looking forward to Christmas now that it's not going to involve loads of drunkenness, embarrassment, vomiting etc. (I hope)

i am still hanging in there. day 42 is upon me. thngs are very stressful right now and all i want to do is curl up in a ball and sleep, which is probably a good idea since i am feeling ill. but i am powering my way through it all

Not boozing today.

I've done 41 hours without drinking. I stated to quit 10 days ago (I think) but have had 3 litres of beer in my quit time, till about 2 days ago, so I did not crash.

I have got rid of all the booze from home. -I had loads as a home-brewer, and managed to go to the supermarket and do a big shop today (passing through the booze section a few times) without giving in.

I'm really glad I found this forum because I have a good idea of what to expect from reading the posts of others.
