I don't see a need to justify the quail buying against the wine.

You made two choices.

You didn't buy the wine...Good job

You treated yourself to something you wanted... Good job *maybe* *LOL*
Hope he likes the quail.

Now how can I get my wife to bring home a pony? *LOL*
*or let me bring one home*

You did good. Keep up the great work.

My wife brought home a baby bunny a few years back. I went out and bought a second one.

Well next thing I know, I am building a hutch to house the 7 babies we ended up with *LOL*
For now I just sit and enjoy the animals that nature brings into my yard. Hummingbirds, finches, squirrel, chipmunk, woodchuck, and today I had seen an owl fly down from the tree into the back of the yard. Being sober I find I can enjoy what is already there rather then have my focus be looking for that next drink.

This is the first I had seen one in my yard. Maybe I wasn't looking before or they are starting to show up because of the lot next to me is growing over.

I had one and it would use a cat literbox. Also found that it would eat the plastic off the lamp and TV cords. The bunny and the cat would get along with each other as well.

Angie - I love the title to your thread!

Then I read it - and I'm sorry - I laughed.

Quail??? ok. you must live urban.
Here in Montana - if we want quail - we pretty much go outside, sit in a field for a while ... and throw a rock. Or back the car without looking first. You'll probably hit something.

LOL

I raised miniature horses, so if you want advice - just pm me.
I know many breeders in the US and can point you to who you need to visit.

The bunny thing cracked me up, too Best - I thought you were goin to say your wife brought home a rabbit and a few weeks later ... you went out and bought a deep fryer - LOL

Way to go on not buying the wine! That's the main thing!
and thanks for the giggle.
