Day Maybe for me
Hey Patrick - Good luck to you - I don't know if I will stay sober today or not - I'm usually pretty good on weekdays - too much kids stuff to do to get wasted, but come the weekend and I lose it. What is it? Why do we do this to ourselves? I ride over 100 miles a week on a road bike, run 6 miles a week, work, raise three kids, yet come the weekend, I self-medicate and black out. It sucks!!
Patrick, this place has helped save me from my alcohol addiction of many years. I know how uncomfortable you must be at this moment. It's horrible. But you can turn everything around - it's wonderful you found this place and had the sense to reach out. Many never reach that point, such as my husband who passed away 2 yrs. ago (drank since he was 15 & refused to admit it was destroying him). You can be a whole new person - I'm on my way there myself! Love to you.
