I'm glad you wrote this out Scaredy. I'm glad I read it too. Helps me remember some of the things I won't be doing or feeling like anymore. Thank you.

Thanks for sharing your last drunk night with us scaredykat.I find so much help and inspiration from the messages on here,and so much of it comes from people opening their hearts when they feel they have hit rock bottom.Very best wishes in your fight.

Absolutely!!

I used to wake up and pray that God would 'take' me if he needed someone to die...now I go to bed most nights and I'm so excited about the next day I can hardly sleep! I LOVE the mornings and thank God every day for my sobriety.

Same here, except for me it was 5 years, after detoxing and then remembering things (the things I could remember ) I did was an eye-opener and something I never want to go throuh again

I'm starting to love the mornings too. Plus I'm drinking coffee again.
