An Alcoholic travels to Tibet seeking a cure for his alcoholism. When he arrives, a wise Tibetan Monk takes him to a stream and proceeds to hold the alcoholic's head underwater until he nearly passes out. After the Alcoholic recovers, the Monk asks him: " What did you want more than anything else when I held your head under water?". The Alcoholic relies: " I wanted air".
The wise Monk then tells him:"When you want to stop drinking more than anything else, it will come to pass"

JB,
Haven't heard that one - very good! I've been sober 1 week and 6 days - quit alcohol and benzos - AND cigarettes. It's been one of the hardest things I've had to do physically but it is so worth it. Sounds like it's the benzos that are causing the main w/d problems. I just want it all behind me and to get back to "normal." Normal being how I felt before the strong addiction ever started.
Good deal on your 30 days! Keep up the good work!!!
