600 days!
so i check the sober time calculator pretty regularly. today is 600 days for me. wow...you've got to be kidding. i cant believe how fast time is going. where do the days go? i remember the first year it seemed like every 30 days felt like a decade. now it seems like hundreds of days go by in a flash. when life gets really full, leave home at 8AM and get back at 8PM, the time just flies by. sometimes i feel like i wish time would stand still. but the only thing constant in life is change....and my sponsor once said that "its not change that hurts us, but the resistence to it"....so i roll with the punches today. who would have thought that a gutter punk homeless kid crying himself to sleep in a park everynight would one day live be a sucess? not me...but God had a different plan for me. thank the Lord for working in my life on a daily basis.

chicago, congrats on 600 days, I agree its an amazing process and all I do is turn up and do the footwork.

thanks im really milking the celebrating! 600 days....lol....hey ill take full advantage of any opportunity to celebrate recovery. to give you an idea of how drastically different my life is today....my problem tonight was getting my email sync'ed properly to my phone. my problems used to be where i was going to find something to eat.
