Question How am I

I was asked how I am this morning here on SR and I thought I would share the reply with you.

Yep doing well. Having a grear Saturday. Its very sunny (sprng here) and I have just finished an intense week at work and in my recovery, its all great though. This week I consolidated all my debts when the best I could manage on my own was to keep up with the payments and go without everything inclding socks without holes in them. Now I have a manageable debt and I have let go of all the fear and resentment underlying that and many other old ways of living and being.

This is just of many elements this "gift" of recovery has given me. I also realsied how angry old friends and family are with me and now I can look at that and move on to make amends and let that go and so it goes

How am I? I am ALIVE.

Thanks to NA my Sponsor my HP SR and all the recoverying addcts in my life.

Today I have no fear. That I can live without fear was impossible for me it was part of my skin. Well today I live without fear and I love it.

That's great Kevin. It's so good to see yourself making progress like that and taking care of business. And, experiencing no fear - that's amazing! What a great way to go through life.

Thanks stone. I wanted to try and share how it gets. I keep close to how it was and have not forgotten. When I experience what I have in the last few days and when I look at myself I sahe my head and I so want to pass that on and share the joy.

So here I have what I call another God bump.

I got a call today, and it was from a bill of mine that is over $7,000.00 dollars. I said that there is really nothing that I could do about it at this time. I have a lot of $30.00 a month payments that I am making and I am out of $30.00 I told them

So I told them of the physical condition that I am in. They are sending me paper work to give to my Doctor to fill out! Guess what! They are going to wipe the debt clean. That is totally awesome. I am so thrilled about this.

I could have claimed bankruptcy like I was advised but I feel that I should make amends no matter how long it takes. It works! I have now payed of two things so far and am getting ready to start another one. It feels good to know that we can do the right thing.

way to go Vic yep it works so long as we keep doing the footwork.

I have no idea how this all works and for once in my life I just accept that life as it is.

Incredible miracles!

Wow, I needed this thread right now!!

THANK YOU!

I don't have any money now to pay off mine but when I get in the position, I'm going to start paying my debts. I owe thousands. It is scary but I guess it's possible.

Awesome thread!

Kevin -

Your posts are always so mellow. Well, almost always. You know what I mean.
I want to hear more about spring in Austrailia. It's autumn here, just one more thing upside - down about our two locations.

I love it.
