I dont derserve you all to be here :0( but Im slipping still, did a stuiped stuiped thing last night and well Im gonna pay for it big time!! went to a AA last sunday was sober three nights then drank. Rang a alcohol drug councellor but Im just so dam tired all just tired and Im sick of the fight that Im having :0(

Hi Angie, I know exactly how you feel. I wanted to give up too. But something keeps pushing me to keep trying. Everyday I think "why bother I'm not going to make it anyway". I'm learning to ignore that voice and keep trying.

You can too. Don't give up. Just keep reading and posting on here. That's what i do.

You can see people on this forum and people at a meeting who are doing it, recovery IS possible and AA is certainly something I would recommend. Was it your first meeting?

hi all I cant go as chris isnt home to look after the children.
It was my third visit and I do enjoy them I feel impsired by them but I feel like maybe Im a B**ch??? am I so up myself that I cant see the damage Im doing??? I have these horrible dreams of being alone just darkness around me :0( and they are getting so very down

Youre not a bitch Ang, youre an alcoholic, do you have any numbers you can call? If not you could ring the helpline and they would get someone to phone you I am sure.
I have found talking to another AA person on the phone can be a real help. Let them help you because I can guarantee they want to.

I so understand how you're feeling Ang. believe me. We just have to have faith that there's more for us somewhere. And we have to not stop looking for it. I just made three days today too so I have very little room to talk but I went to a meeting today and found out that there are wonderful people who are willing and want to help. Give it a shot. I am starting to have more and more hope each day I'm sober. so much so that I can't wait until tomorrow.

Give it today with me. We'll stay sober today and hey if we don't like it, tomorrow we'll drink. But let's just do this thing today.
