Akron
Jem,
The big founders day in Akron...doesn't seem like it will be far for you (?) That's where I would be headed!!
There is a link in Biker recovery somewhere..
(I Don't know how to cut & paste while I am on)
I think the subject is founders day.
Good Luck
Anne

Sweetness!
Akron is a whole 1/2 away from me...NICE!
I know that's where AA was originated...
Do I have to register for this or is it like a festival?
I saw the link, but it mentions a registration fee...
Has anyone been there before? If so, details please??

If I remember correctly you can register when you get there.15 dollars is for the whole weekend so that's not bad.A bigger concern would be where you will stay...but if you are that close you probably don't have to worry.I can't go this year, but I have been there 3 times and it's just too awesome to describe.
Be sure to go see Dr. Bob's house

Founder's Day is very cool
If you get the chance to go, don't miss it. I went when I had about 4 mos sober and it was amazing. Can't go this year, funding is a little tighter this year .
