My dog only bit me, nobody else..but i am a bore..lol..You know i had another dog, he couldn't walk..The doctor told me to prepare and if i could i should do massages..For a week i did physical therapy on the dog..He started walking a week after..We recorded it on video..It was magical, before we had to feed him by hand..So..He lived another year..and it was funny he started loving me like never..He barked when our car was a mile away..He was thankful....animals are unconditional...

aww what a nice dog.

My folks have a dog, and if a little one even gets near him he growls and barks!! At family get togethers we put him in the garage. He bit my grandson once, and so now they are thinking about adopting him out to peeps with no kids.

I have the funniest story..I went to buy some protection for rats..It was heavy, so the man helped me to put it in the car..I open the door(my dog was 8 and never had bitten anybody)..and he sees the dog and goes: "does he bite?"...i go like.."no"..and in that moment the dog bit my arm fiercely...it was sort of funny..the man starts freaking out..he then gave me some treatment for the arm..that was funny tough..the dog was tired of being on the car i guess..but i am the only one he doesn't like in the family..lol...

Murphy is a handsome, wise-looking dog. And he's certainly well-loved.
Thanks for sharing him with us (and thanks for posting the pic, teej)

thanks everyone for being so kind. I fed the cats and he didnt even move when he saw them eating, normally with Murph you have to watch him coz hes quick at pinching the cats tucker lol. It came on so quickly well when I say that hes had bouts over the past of being sore in the morning but he comes right. The vet says it will get worse and worse as time goes on :0( I just wish I could wave a magic wand and he would come fine but I cant and I have to be strong and sober for the kids and hubby

You don't have to be 'strong' - have yourself a good cry! Being sober is one thing, and sure it takes a certain kind of strength, but I hope you will allow yourself to feel, and to grieve. Tears can be healing - let it happen, hon.

So sorry, Angie. I lost my beloved Lab last June, so I understand what you are feeling right now. Hugs to you and Murphy.

Just lay down and cuddle with him, so he knows that he is loved, and thats the best thats you can do. Pet him tons more and give him special snacks........just spoil him.
I wish I had more suggestions, but I'm plum out. I will say prayers for Murphy and your family.
