Hi guys, such a wonderful thread here.

I am a codie. I was dating a guy in recovery, we moved in together and he relapsed. I did everything I could to help him. Read more and more here in forums and understood more about addiction. Everything went down hill very fast. 4 days ago he got arrested for distribution and i got a restraining order before he got served... Packed all his stuff from our place... So hard to let it go. Officialy single, emotionaly not yet... Trying to recover though...

Always had the guy(s) for years. In 2005 fell deeply in lust and got married for the first (only thus far) time.

Since then..... flying solo. Did the slip 'n' slide with some "friends" but found that didn't work for me too well. Now.... concentrating on the woman I am and look forward to the either "just me" or "us" scenario.... which I can't predict.

Whenever I think that things will go in a certain direction long-term wise.... I'm always surprised.

My addiction strangly enough made my husband and I closer. He too would love me when I wasn't loving him back and I am so thankful for that love now that I am sober. I took advantage of that love so many times and beat him in the ground emotionally. So, I am so greatful for him and love him dearly!
