Granny Addicted since 1998
First off let me say, my daughter created me an account here. I do know exactly how you guys feel about lortabs! damn that little pill!! A little about me- I'm in pain physically and emotionally, it all started with kidney stones, and then a slipped disk, The next thing I know I'm addicted to hydrocodone, the yellow 10 pointers, everyday I feel like I have to get off the pills, todays the day, a couple of years ago I did withdrawl for a few days, it was a nightmare, restless leg the jitters, always in a bad mood, but I needed the "sweet high". How can I finally kick this this stuff, I'm 45, I have a beautiful 1 1/2 year old grandaughter! I know I dont need this in my life.. Does anyone have any remedies for the withdrawls, !!!

Welcome! Sorry I can't offer any advice on your particular drug of choice...I'm just a garden-variety alcoholic myself. But, I know there are many others here who have experience with other addictions, and I'm sure you'll be hearing from them. There are also other forums that may be of interest to you. Surf around and make friends.

Pills also not my DOC but plenty of info around the board on the little buggers if you look and I'm sure that others will be around shortly.
I'm 45, not yet a granny, have 6 years clean this month from meth.

Welcome to SR Vincy, I wish I could offer you some help other then going to NA, I am an old sober drunk with 6 grandkids and 2 more in the oven.
I am sure there will be some folks along who have walked in your shoes.
BTW have you spoken to your doctor? There were several folks in detox with me who were addicted to prescription drugs.
