Further proof of how ill I have been
So, I decided to go through some boxes of "stuff" we had in storage since we moved last year. I've been putting off this challenge, it seemed so overwhelming when I was in an alcoholic fog. In one box labeled "bathroom" I found a full hairspray bottle. I opened it to see if it still smelled ok. I was overwhelmed with the smell of alcohol. I then identified it as vodka. I had no memory of filling up an empty hairspray bottle with vodka, undoubtedly to sip it in secret - probably stashed it under the bathroom vanity and forgot about it. How far gone I must have been to justify doing that. I'm sure that's probably just the tip of the iceberg, too, as far as my behavior is concerned. Oh to have a video of myself these past few years. That would surely keep my evil twin from taking over my life once again.
Just a dumb little story, but who else could I tell it to & have them understand? Thank you, friends.
