A year? When I first had seen this post my thought was...only a year?

Thank you. All. Again. Every day. I told the group tonight about SR, and they already knew about it - when someone asks, I tell them about this place, and give them the addy.
I just spent today ... happy.
I feel like I 'made the team' or something.
I DO!
I've said this before, but I've never fulfilled ALL the requirements of something before. I always cheated, sneaked, peeked, fidged, or something.
This time - I wanted it to be real.
And it is.
At the meeting tonight ... I was;
I dunno the word
(heh- mark 'that' one down, too)
silenced, I guess by the things people said to me.
Things like something I'd said had affected their attitude toward recovery. That kind of thing. Like what some of you have said.
Uh, wow.
Of myself - I am nothing.
You all help me to remember that.
Thank you again.

TERRIFIC......Up above a few replys u will see a cake our Ann sent u....we make those cakes at our bakery here in Baton Rouge....a 2 tier cake with Fondant icing....highly decorated,delicious and eligant in its own way.
Recovery is like baking, stacking, decorating and presenting a product that has been put together. There r different steps to go thru to get the end result...so it is with recovery...the steps we take to build our self esteem, character, personality, all with just the right amount of patiance, tolerance, love and care.
The end result is a more happier, content, sober lovely human being.
And now I present one of our own SR members with one yr. of
sweetness all baked into one....

They asked me what kind of cake I wanted - I said I didn't cre, long as it was red inside, and hard to make - LOL ( got a standard white wal-mart bakery one)
