Don't have a clue? Here's one for you...just do it...through the help of a detox/rehab followed up with lots of AA meetings and support from those of us at SR who are in various stages of recovery.
We all had to start somewhere...none of us was miraculously struck sober...it took some doing...and, you can do it, too...one day at a time.

Jinjo, how are you doing today? One thing I have learned in life is that it goes up and down; so I have come to look at the "downs" as better because an "up" is coming.
Wishing that for you,
Jhana

Jinjo,
I was 36, waking up in a fetal position each morning, thinking I needed whiskey to shake me out of my lethargy and make me happy. Every day. "Normal" life had no appeal for me. What I didn't realize was that although I had a job - I had no real life.
Now? While yardwork holds no particular appeal for me, since getting sober I enjoy reading again, I've played baseball, gotten married, gone back to school, I own a car, have a computer, a wife(!!) two kids (!!!!), we hike, camp, go for long drives, sit on the porch and veg, go to the library, listen to the Red Sox lose (no TV), visit friends, go to the zoo, pray, love, laugh, live...
There's a whole world out there waiting for you...I gotta go. Liam, my ten month old, is pulling himself up on my leg and wants his daddy (me - former drunk!) - to play. Priorities. Best of luck. I hope you find your way. Mike
