Bottoms....Part 12
I can look for a new job but I'm afraid I won't find one that pays as well nor has the benefits.
I think I will start looking soon. I was putting it off because I was trying to get my meds worked out.
Damn it Stone! I want a nap!

Population two. Morning K! Morning PD! I'd say good morning to Stone but he's gone to bed - again. Sorry you're having such trouble with your meds, PD. I've been on ones that make me super-tired all the time. Makes it hard to go to work, get out of bed, work out, do ANYTHING.
How are things at your house today, K?
I'm on holidays from work - I've got a houseful of kids - great kids, though. Just filled up on food so everyone is happy for a little while.

i forgot you were on holiday this week, sounds like a nice break. enjoy!
my house sucks. she's holed up in her room, sulking and all. we could call and have her removed, but i don't want all that drama. she'll go out eventually, and i will lock door. we have told her that is what we are going to do. so that's that. she says she's going to outpatient, but that doesn't change a thing about her staying here. we've told her that too. the broken window was the end of our rope. that is just insanity......
i'll be here when she gets some recovery under her belt. not today though.
so that's what's happening here. sorry you asked? ha!

No - I'm very glad that I asked.
I think it's really important to set clear boundaries with firm consequences, and you are doing that. I agree that the broken window incident was the breaking point, so to speak. She's been to treatment, she's been sober before, so she's got the tools. It's up to her to use them. I'm behind you 100% on this, K. I've said it before, and I can't imagine how hard it must be to go through this with your daughter. Mine will be at that age before too long. Hang in there ...
