Poor Kev. What's the matter fella? I hope you feel better soon.

A breadmaker huh? Smell of baking bread through the house. Now that's something I could be bothered doing now I am sober. What a good idea.

I am just getting the children off to bed. I went to my BB study group tonight. We got to the bit about sex. Had a bit of a laugh.

Where'd the weekend go???

Lol Sherry. Sure is. BB tells us not to get hysterical about it. But then we saw it was on page 69. The meeting went downhill from there.

Goodnight mates.

I'm sure Steph didn't mean to steal HATZ's thunder Rae !
Not a problem...imitation is the sincerest form of flattery! LOL

Hope you last as long as HATZ...we're on our sixth incarnation...CarolD usually closes each thread around 500, and moves on to a new one for us.

Awwwww-not really.I just hate going outside when it's raining.

Fair enough.I'll teach Merlin to fetch it-it'll keep him occupied!

Hi Jules, Dee, Ang and Stone. Kev - feeling better today?

I have had this headache all day. It's a doozy.

Wellington has been ice cold all day. I am tucked up nice and warm and happy to be sober.

I prefer the weekends. Tomorrow is full on. First thing is take Toby (my dog) to the vet to get his stiches out. I will have to miss lunch because of that. Then my boss wants a telephone meeting. I have photographers coming into work and parent teacher interviews after work. I am not sure I will have time for a meeting but there's a short sharp one tomorrow night in my suburb that might do the trick.

Good news is that I did step 8 tonight. My sponsor told me off for delaying. Hehe. So it's done. Now I have to go say sorry to hateful people.

Just joking.

Life is getting better!!

My children leave on Friday and I spent some time today organising social outings so that I don't sit around feeling sorry for myself. I think the Simpsons movie is a definite starter. Who needs a kid when my emotional age is about 16?

So - Another day on the road to recovery. Goodnight everyone.

Hey all!

Steph-sounds like a crazy day ahead for you-hope it all goes well.

I caught your headache-crap.

LOL about hateful people.I'm sure you'll do well

I had a horrible time last night-I was up the road getting stuff for dinner and the owner of the local wine shop came out to ask me where I'd been(I used to go there every day) then handed me a bottle of wine as a gift to say she'd missed me.

As if this isn't hard enough?*sigh*

I told her I'd stopped drinking for medical reasons(not the complete truth but what the hell)...and she said well keep it till you're better. She just refused to take it back and I didn't want to make a big deal out of it in public.I just felt sick.

Anyway-long story short-I dumped the bottle in a trash bin outside the supermarket, got in my car and cried all the way home. But I made it.I did it.And I'm a little bit proud of that today.

Hope all of you on this side of the world are well today.

I'm more than just a little bit proud Jules. I know how hard you've worked these last 4 weeks, how determined you've been, but I know how tough that must've been too.

Stories like yours, and everyone else's here, inspire me so much.
Proud, very proud, of you. Proud of all of us.

Glad to know you all and call you friends
