Mad..I can see you are passionate -- that is great and can serve you well if that energy and passion is channeled in the right direction. You feelings/beliefs about 12 step stuff are valid and to be respected. However, as it was mentioned, if you focus your energies on understanding and sharing wjat DOES work, I think we will all better benefit from it. I also want to say good for you for kinda clearing things up in your last post. It seemed more positive than the previous ones...so you are heading in the right direction in my opinion. Keep it up, brother.

I've been surfing and posting on SR for the past hour and a half. Since I'm wheelchair-bound in a nursing home, this is my way of having a meeting...sharing our experience, strength, and hope with each other. It's my way of staying mentally sober and spiritually grounded...with all that I learned through AA for 22 years, I still need to have a network and a support group. Some things don't change!
