numb shure i would numb... i would also like to hear what your doing for recovery... been post'n loads, i cant be in all places, just haven't seen any mention of it...

remember, this is a recovery forum, its great to see we can have fun in sobriety... why, even are mayor of assville talks about what he's doing for his recovery, and what he's not...

we watch each others backs...

numb, trust me, i aint trying to beat you up... just its real important that one has some form of recovery..

ever hear of the term, substitution... it takes the focus off the real problems and issues at hand...

your on the way to a way better future numb, and would be a shame if you fell...

its about experiance, strenght, and hope...

I am on a med detox.... the docs at first was tapering the dose down... they want to try something stronger... i had posted in the mental help portion about the incident I was in a couple days ago.

I just dunno where I should put updates about me
for everyone to see em...

I almost started to self mutilate again after being free from that for a long while. I went to the ER the other night and saved myself....
Lithium is helping control my moods Ive only been on it for a few days as well but they are giving me a high dose so that I can become a little emotionally stable quicker Im not just an addict... I tried killing myself several times in my life... and have many psychological problems all on axis 3 of the DSM -IV TR (personality disorders)
I used drugs to stop cutting... now I dont have drugs... so I guess the cutting never really stopped it was covered up by another form of coping. A deformed coping skill. I was already in rehab for this... it didnt work

Now im going to NA in NYC. My third time. I go in the mornings... because for me mornings are where I need to get focused. Im still on med detox and I am starting a pratial hospitalization program next week.
Im not quitting...
I just need to smile every now and then .... its hard where I am, I dont smile here.... my home isnt a home... its a trigger so I have a trigger around me 24/7.
I have to stop typing right now im crying way too much.

I hope I caught you up on everything....

first, a med detox is much safer... working with the pros through this all...

as the cut'n, bravo for go'n to the ER...

i do understand your mental heatlh issues... i'm working with a sponsse, that i call, tri-polor...

and i see how diffilcult it can be trying to keep clean, and hear'n the voices at the same time...

N.A.'s a good thing, remember, its not only the drink or drug... its changing one's thoughts, reactions to life, old behavours, and quite a bit more.. N.A shows a path...

and you bet sist'a... smiles...
