273.34 days !!!!
Yup, 9 months !
Taking my first chip tonight at the meeting I was voted chair for last week !
Mid ( ? ) sobriety is, ummm, different ?
My HP seems to think I've recovered enough to handle some "real" situations. Currently, my car is in the shop (little or no $$ to fix) and there is word that there will be lay offs at my company. And there's this girl thing......
But you know what ? It's OK. I know as long as I keep doing what I've been doing, God will guide me to something better. I'll walk through this and come out the other side stronger. I haven't lost any sleep over it (literally), nor am I awake at 4:30 AM in a panic. I've still got lots of serenity. I have hope.
To all of you that are still struggling. Get with the program, get a sponsor, get some commitments, get some phone numbers and use them, and work the steps. It works. It really does.

Tyrone,
Congratulations on your 9 months, that's awesome!
And you're right, we get tested by stuff sometimes whether it's financial, emotional, whatever, but we don't have to drink over it; we just trust in God and keep doing the next right thing for our recovery.
I'm glad you are here to share your ES & H with us.

Alright GP!! At my meetings we refer to 9 months as "full term". Lol
Thank you for sharing your ESH every day on SR, for being an inspiration to me in recovery.
