Hi,

First off I want to thank everyone for being so kind and sympathetic here over the last 36 hours.

In 2,5 hours I am meeting someone from AA and in 3 hours I will be attending my first AA meeting. I am so nervous !!!!

I haven't had anything to drink since Sunday morning and I don't want anything. With me it's more about the initial drink and how it gets the ball rolling. For now I am fine with not drinking but I am realistic, so I know that temptation will arrive at some point.

I have tried to moderate my drinking before but it doesn't work with me, so this is the one and only option for me.

Once again, thank you for understanding. Will post more later when I get back from my meeting !

Nothing to be afraid of...no reason to be nervous...once you walk through those meeting room doors, you will be HOME! Just sit back, relax, and listen...you are on your way to recovery...remember, the joy is in the journey!
