I know what you mean about being around the wrong people/places. I was even stupid enough to think I could work in a bar and I'm an alcoholic (what a joke). Just don't lose hope.
Please seek medical attention. I've went to the hospital more than once when I've been really bad and a lot of times they can make you feel so much better physically fast. If you have more serious medical conditions they can at least start to treat it.
Remember that there are a lot of people than will support you. I will keep you in my thoughts.

Probation kept me there a long time so I missed tonights meeting.
She kept me there forever cause my drug test from last time came back + for coke and pot. She talked to (at) me for a long time, but she isnt goingt to violate me.
I have to start doing the right thing.

Bet, not to nag.........but...........you started this thread Monday. Today is Friday. You really need to get to a meeting. Just glancing over responses during the week, they appear (do I say it) to sound like excuses why you didn't go. I used to do the same thing. It was only after I started going to meetings on a regular (daily) basis that the huge mess I had gotten myself into started to dissipate.

Hi just checking in to see if you are okay, You can give it all up and many of us here are living proof that it can be done. Have you a sympathetic Dr. you could talk to? Can you face up to your friend and tell it like it is? that you're ill with it all and are stopping. In the end you'll be free and I hope you will be, free for yourself!!

my desire to drink in massive quantities and the craving for coke were out of hand , I had no control. so I took the CHICKEN way out and popped afew ativan. Slept since work. Popped 2 more and going back to to sleep.
I think tommarrow is going to be a problem. The town I Live in has the meadowlands ractrack. For those who know anything about the hambletonian it as th 1st Sunday IN AUGUST , but the town has a parade in town tommarrow. I might have to knock myself out again TOMMARROW. If I go out OT THE PARADE their will be coke and plenty of booze for thE offering.

I broke the rule again and in this vulnerable state I should have steerd clear. S
Somwehre, soemhow I told her no. She needed me to make the call and I so wanted to, but it just didint feel right. To many negative consequences. I just didint want to go down that road at that particular moment.
The situation planted a seed though cause the next day I found myself making that call to the dealer all by myself with no one there to influence me.
So next time I try to blame some one else I better take a good look at myself and tell myself I am just using this person as an excise cause evetually I will give in to temption with or without anyone pushing me.
I am an addict
