All right what is this thread about? I thought it was writing about what your bottom is when you quit drinking or drugging? Is this another fun thread or what?

Assville- hehe I dont know how to do the other faces. Only happy or sad that's it.

Hi Scardey Barb, the first post of Bottoms part 1 was me saying I hope I have hit bottom and this is the end of drinking and the beginning of not drinking. I wrote it as a reminder to myself of how bad I was feeling at the time. I had just been on a horrible 30 day mega-binge.
I had just started going to meetings at that point and have had a much better time since joining AA. I went 24 days and had a 3 day 'slip' went a week and had another 3 day slip, and today I am back up to day 21.

Anyhoo, the thread has grown into a 'monster' now and isnt really about anything anymore. It's just a place to come and have fun or post about anything you want. I sometimes post about how I am doing recovery-wise but not very often these days.

I hope gypsy doesn't see that Anna put 'stones thread' in the title, she loves to call me 'needy'!

I have to go and have a bath and do some reading in the BB in preperation for a visit from a guy who is gonna go through step 1 with me this morning. I never thought I would be saying that!

Stone, Don't know if you read my thread or not. It's called "Going to try again-Hope I make it". I've been writing about my meetings and how I feel.

When you said the word "monster", I thought about the picture I posted on my thread. I call him my addiction monster. Hehe.

Ok, well I might think up a new nickname for ya avoiding pit bulls and leads of course! Yea Barberellas around, Assville isnt the same without her!

Hull you say? I dont blame you for moving then! Not that Liverpool is much better. I always picture Hull as being really bleak for some reason.

..Reminds me tho' of my drinking days...always seemed to miss that last step
