wow that's a trip..i can't solder worth a darn...the ladies on the
production line use to laugh at me and tell me to go back my desk.lol
I can identified almost any eletronic compontent, how they work
what brand, where they should go just by looking at them or looking
at the part numbers. i use to be a rolo dex for my boss too. i was the
information center for everybody at the plant..i hung up... take a number
and have a sit, on my door.lol my boss had a sense of humor.
i put it up for him...lmao
For some reason my brain makesense of numbers but when it comes to langage,
its all wacked out.lol
How in the heck you you ladies do that ?...solder or de-solder those litle parts
especailly those little SMD parts..0603. that's pretty small.
That's a lot of concentration and focus
the ladie had to soilder those little parts on by hand somethimes becuase
the SMD machine spits out parts out by the ka-zillions..lol
One time a machine was spiting out a $15 part by the 10 of thousands
and some HS kid was dumping in the trash..lol
it's just a little black plastic looking of ma roo lol
my boss has gray..gray.gray hairs...lol
I had to tell my boss..new parts weren't availiable and on allocations too.
he almost shot me....lol

Hi Everyone, Only a couple of hours to go. I'll go to bed and wake up not drinking tomorrow.
SaTiT- I never said I was good at soldering. lol
I sucked big time. I was good at assembly, checking in kits, and setting up jobs. I was also training new people towards the end when my Dr didn't want to to do that kind of work any more. I was lucky enough to find a small factory let me work part time. I was only working 16 hours a week. 3 years ago I couldn't even do that. That's when my drinking really took off and I was feeling sorry for myself. I miss building circuit boards so bad. I done it for over 18 years. My husband is a technician at his factory. I wouldn't like that kind of job. To me it's boring trying to figure out why something doesn't work.
Glad your back Dee. Everyone missed you. Congratulations again on 100 days.

My tech was never boring...lol
On paper it works but after you dip it before you ship it, something went wrong.
that would just drive me crazy..trouble shooting like that all the time.
We give the man plenty of space...lol I notice he always tries to share informations
with me..thou A very talented man.
I almost master the art of informing my custom's enigneer how they goof
sometimes...Of course, get Sat to make the call and pass on the message.
Put on the kit gloves..lol
My mom puts the kits toghter for me..lol Weird..she makes me lunch
and i get advice from her..but worked for me.
Oh yeah..the ladies don't get too happy if I order the not so correct
part...mmm wrong lead spacing and stuff like that, details..details..lol
..So mom has to put on the kit gloves..lol
I can aprriciate it tho...i bent and crimp millions of parts in HS
to buy my first guitar. My dad built me a Fuzz box from scratch.
He's a tech too or that's his field..

much from me really..Just was pretty happy that i was cleaned
and sober everyday and living a normal life..
The thing i hated the most about that job was firing people..
