Bottoms part 3...

Doesn't have the same ring to it as, say, Bottoms part 2 . What happened to the splashy catchy titles like Soup or ...of mice and men!

So did you nap today or get your housework done stoney? 11 days rocks!!!

Hi everyone .

I was actually going to come up with a new thread title (Breasts?) but in the end I thought I am now associated with bottoms so it just makes it easier to stick with Bottoms.

'...of mice and men' was good tho and 'Soup' was a classic!
Good times, good times....

I didnt sleep till 5am and woke at 12pm so no nap and no housework either, I went shopping for a few bits I forgot last time.
Oh, I did have a bath tho!

Wise choice then sticking with bottoms... though breasts could be a nice change of pace.

Your insomnia is contagious. I didn't sleep at all. I was awake all night and no napping for me .

Hi Gypsy,

I'm not sleeping well either - I think that horse on Stoney's sig line has something to do with it - he's hypnotizing us methinks.

Cover ur eyes!

Hi Rowan (and K and Karimpatim ). Nah... the Unicorns aren't sabotaging my sleep. I actually find them comforting. The kids love that little video as well. If it helps to avert your eyes, by all means do so .

Does anyone have any sleeping tips? Anything... I'm open to any and all suggestions at this point.

aha! the word 'breast' is mentioned in a thread, and you're all over it, GP!

How do men do that?

Do you take any natural supplements? Valerian and melatonin are both excellent.
A hot bath before bed, read until I am sleepy. And if I can't sleep, I get up and do something until I am tired.

Hi GP . Yep... this is what the insomniacs do while you're asleep.

I have tried valerian, and melatonin... many times. Doesn't do anything for me. The hot bath sounds good except that, it's HOT here and humid the past week lol. Almost like being in a sauna already.

I do get up and out of the bedroom sometimes and go down to read or putter around the kitchen. The kitchen gets cleaner, but I don't get sleepy .

I've had insomnia for at least 20 years...it sucks ass.

I dunno. Instinct? 6th sense? Radar ? The thread was just calling out to me.

fresh air in the evening helps me sleep better. a walk, some weeding, or just some time in my lawn chair.

Yes... I go to a yoga class 2x's a weeks at least... more if I can swing it. If the kids are out I pop on a DVD to yoga along with. I walk every morning and sometimes go in the evenings as well. Bikes rides with the kids when we can fit it in.

A friend sent me some meditation stuff to listen to. I must say, this does put me to sleep when I listen to it laying out at the pool... but if I'm home in bed trying it... no dice. Grrrrrrr.

Hopefully I'll get some magical advice one day because none of the sleep aids my doctor has prescribed has ever worked either .
