1st Saturday W/O A Hangover In....

at least 7 months. OMG. I feel....well, really tired. But not b/c I have a hangover! I feel tired b/c I am depressed and having a hard time coping with some things right now. The fact is though, that I AM NOT HUNGOVER! WOOT WOOT!

A girl could get used to this.

Congrats! It is nice isn't it. It is my first Sat too and I am very nervous about the rest of the weekend. Giving you (and me) good vibes to wake up tomorrow hangover free too

I'm glad you're both here, and enjoying a sober Saturday morning. Early sobriety can be tough, so take it easy and don't be too hard on yourselves. Please keep posting - we do care.

Me too 1st Saturday. It feels good but weird too. I am still feeling very anxious. I have started taking valerina tablets - not sure if they are working though.
I am going to cinema tonight, Good luck for the rest of weekend every1

How about checking out a local AA meeting
as a way to stay quit?

Works great for me!!

Any day that doen't start with my head in the toilet and a a few gulps of cheap vodka is a good one.

I'm a little tired myself now at 9 days. It takes time to let the body get back to doing what the body is supposed to be doing. How about a trip to the doctor for some blood work? Alcohol does quite a number on us. Just got mine back. Liver enzymes in the high normal, cholesterol up, but otherwise OK. I've found that if I get home from and start doing things instead of just watching TV, I feel OK. Maybe just a little excercise. Everyone I've asked about this says it will get better, just be patient.

Hang in there. You'll be fine!

Brightest Blessings!
