First time in a chat room
Hi
I've found this site as my first point of call as I too obviously have a severe problem with alcohol.
So, here I am on the beginning of a journey by at least trying to find that all important support.
Saturday pm was first night for a long time without drink; sunday, drank a quarter the quantity of normal; monday hit it again back to normal level (consequently not a good thing); tuesday and tonight wednesday, managed to only drink about a quarter the amount (as per sunday).
I do feel better for drinking less the next morning, although right now (its 01.24 in London) if I had it I would easily drink another bottle, and then another, or three of wine. Never meaning to but it always happens .
My supposed "fantastic acheivements" since saturday are not down to will power but lack of funds, my partner and I have overspent and will struggle untill next friday payday... but least its doing me some good. I
I now hope to continue cutting back , to a state of stopping.
Good luck to anyone who might ever read this...

The journey starts by not drinking Just For Today. Only 24 hours.
