Welcome to SR julie. I jsut wanted to welcome you and also see how the drs. visit went. Hoping everything is OK.
Congratulations on your one day. I am an alcoholic also and know it isnt easy.
I have had so many day ones I lost track a long time ago, but I never give up and the further I push the closer I get to living a life free of substances hte happier I feel. For me its been a slow process, but its different for everyone.
You know you have a problem and that puts you one step ahead of the game, for some of us it took longer for us to lose the denial and admit we have a problem.
AA might be something you want to give a try. Youll meet people that have been or are where your at that can give support and advice.
Keep posting and Good luck.
hOPe3 thanks for the link!

Hunnibee please check in, one of the hardest things sometimes after
we realized we have a drinking problem is to stop and stay stopped.
So if you are afraid you will be judged, please don't...Just come back, Ok...
hope and love, hope3
