omg...I warn u, my mind is doing some sort of marathon today..thinking, writing, spill overload...hearts beating..none of it rhymes its not meant to be a poem, just words of how I feel for my neices and nephew.

I know when u do something it has to be because u want to and for urself...I do want to stop putting toxic waste into my body and my mind, I want to be able to stop the thoughts of suicidal, deal with the **** life throws at u, but at the moment I just don't feel I can do it for myself, so I'm going to do it my neices and nephew and maybe one day I will be able to do it for me as well..probably makes no sense....will I get better if I do it for others and not myself?

I have my own living angels,
3 of them that breath and laugh
came into world, and are so deeply loved
each has they own little traits
but each one u'd love to eat.
the giggles as u tickle they tummy
the love the cuddles they bring 2 u
the jokes that they share and tell
keep u going all day.
singing they songs
playing they games
the smiles that light up ur life
melt ur heart, make u so proud
the little words that touch so deep
as they run up towards u and say i love u.

Jade the eldest angel
like her name so pure and innocent
always there to lend a hand
helping anyone, where she can
she was born 7 years ago
we have watched her blossom and grow
she makes u laugh with the jokes she tells
ur be laughing she never fails.
our little madam, whose love is for shoes

Jordan the only boy
he's cheeky grin spoils u
he's laugh so cute
he's cheekyness when he says I told u so
he's love for football, but aston villa come on I mean..
Arsenal are the team, but he's loyality remains.
he's gives the biggest hugs in the world
you only need one and ur see what I feel.

Ellie the youngest, lives so far away
I miss her everyday,
for 5 years we saw eachother everyday
she maybe miles away, but the love I feel remains
she's the one whose so grown up
has already had many challenges her way
she gets angry, she's the one most like me
but she's so loving, and says the best things
she gave me a ring to wear, which I wear each day
a reminder that she is my little angel, that she's never far.
I will help fix the wrong done to her.
I will be there for here when she needs
I won't let her continue to be like me.

We all have an angel inside, we all have angels who walk by oursides...but the best angels of all are the children of the future....ok, stupid me is now getting tearful..grrrrrrr get a grip missess.. We need to look after the children of the future, we need to protect the children of the future.

I guess my thought is that we can do it for anyone. There are no rules. there is no one way to stop. There is not just one way to stay stopped. I know how everyone says that it is for people who want it not the people that need it. I don't have to believe everything that I hear. I truly believe that it is only for those who just DO-IT.

There are days when I don't want to stay clean, there are days that I need to stay clean, then there are days that I just DO-IT. I think that as long as anyone has life it is doable.

It used to make me nervous at AA meetings when they would say things to the effect that, if you were trying to stay sober for someone other than yourself, your chances of staying sober were slim...because I knew in my heart I was really just hoping to reconcile with my husband who had stopped two years earlier through AA.

The thing is I came to AA for him; but, I wound up staying for me...and that was over 27 years ago. So, my feeling is "whatever it takes."

Oh, BTW...we never did reconcile...but, we both stayed sober.

Ideally, you should do it for yourself. That said, I have seen a lot of people of court cards, wife cards & boss cards get recovery and stay.
