Smile TOPIC: Keep Coming Back To Share Your Experiences, Strengths and Hopes.

CC ... Happy Sunday ....

Hi Im Sharon and Im an Alcoholic.

By the Grace of my HP and people
like you here in SR I havent had a drink
of alcohol since 8-11-90.

For that and YOU I am truely grateful.

Im not sure if there is another aasharon
here....however Im here...

Topic....i turned the tv on this morning
at 6am to the Lifetime channel because
thats where i left it before heading to sleep
last night.

You know how they have these Sermons
or Evangilists preaching or a Mass going
on this time...

Well i sat and listened... I need a real bible
i guess...i do have one called THE WAY
that ive had for many years...

Anyway...my book is upstairs and i
was too lazy to go get it to follow...

So afterward i went to retrieve it and
placed it by my chair so i can be ready
next week to follow along....

Im not good at reciting the bible...

However i try to listen and pick
up a little something to help me
thru the day....

Same as going to an AA or NA meeting..

We go Listen and take whatt we want
and leave the rest. Trying to apply
the message to our day.

The preacher spoke something about
being tempted, tried and tested....

He also spoke about how we feed
our bellies 2 4 7 a day so why not
feed our souls with the Words to get
full of spirituality or ur HP.

Make sense....?

Or for me going to a recovery meeting
as often as i feed myself then i will
get full of the message of how to stay
sober one more day or for a lifetime...

Make sense?

Thanks for letting me share....
