Hi eveyone..!!
Hello too all of you.. This site was recommended to me by a friend so it must be good..!!
Last May i stabbed in the chest by someone who was trying to car-jack my 72 year old neighbour's car. The consequences of this have be apocalyptic, mentally, physically & financially.. During the past 9/10 months i have been Agoraphobic & resorting to copious amounts of Cocaine (1oz per week) & alcohol to try & make take myself else where.. It has worked to a degree, but now i can feel this is starting to spiral out of control..
In a nut-shell, where do i go from here..?? Thank you for taking time out to read my post..!!

Hi Hesh,
Welcome to SR!
Sometimes an event like you described can change our lives completely, in a matter of seconds. It's hard to understand why things like this happen, but I believe everything happens for a reason and you have been brought to this point in your life for a purpose.
You can live a sober life and have a good quality of life. This is a great link, from one of the Admins, about PTSD and how to cope with traumtic memories. I hope it helps:

Hesh,
I can't help you with the horror that you have had to face. But if you are ingesting over 4 grams of coke per day you are in serious need of rehab. You need to get to a doc and check into a program. With what you are spending on coke this shouldn't be a problem.
I wish you the best.
