Just sayin hi!
Hey everyone whats up? I'm liz. I'm 21 and from PA. been clean for exactly a month today. I just got out of rehab, my first time there and hopefully my only time. One thing im having problems with is meetings. I hate them. I go to outpatient counsling, read the NA book and stuff but ive only been to 1 meeting. I think i dont like to be reminded every day that im an addict. Ive heard that if you dont go to meetings you will relapse. That sounds kinda harsh and how can anyone really make that assumption? anyways once again hello and im glad i signed up for this!

Hi Liz,
I'm so glad you found us. I go to AA, but many here do not. It's whatever keeps you clean and/or sober - that being said, if you are avoiding meetings for a particular reason, you may wish to look at that.

Hi Liz, welcome to SR! Have you tried AA meetings or only NA? You might want to try a few different ones, eventually you'll figure out what works for you.

Hey, 22 here . Welcome! I guess the support is always a good reminder of the reasons of sobriety.But it's every case for every life.... Just want to welcome you,keep postin!And of course there is alot of info and support on the site!
