Silly little things that make you smile........
As I try to stay away from the evil vodka, I have been looking around for things that make me smile.
One thing I love is a pair of red patent leather pumps I have. When ever I put them on I feel good.
Yes, I am bored, but posting here keeps my fingers and mind busy.

This is one of the things that make me smile the most: One of my good friends and I have the exact same sense of humor. A lot of the things that we find funny, other people think are stupid. We'll always watch these VH1 commentary shows together and just laugh our asses off. We also really enjoy watching really cheesy music videos and laughing away. That always makes me smile. Never fails to make me laugh hard as hell, too.
I like red leather pumps too! I grew out of my old pair, though. Time to buy some new ones! =) <3

BWMD, mine also used to be peek toe pumps. Loved 'em. I also loved painting my toe nails red to match.
To be sober and to eventually have the energy and time to do these things again!

Welll, I broke my foot (drunk) when I was 21..no more pumps for me!!! However, I do have a thing for Adidas Superstars (AKA: Shelltoes)..It makes me smile to find a rare color stripe on the shoe......

BWMD, I didn't mean to get every one off track with the shoes.
I know what you mean, it was very important for me to find things to do that
helped me grow, and not dwell..........
I live in a beautiful area, so I renewed my love for photography.
I take drives to places and watch nature and try to capture alittle of it...
It has helped to bring a certain amount of peace back to my life, exspecially sober..

I don't mind any post about shoes........lol. I was thinking yesterday that I should put the money that I usually spend on vodka in a safe place and reward myself with new shoes! I could have more shoes than Imelda Marcos in no time.....hahahaha.

Funny thing how the longer I am sober the more beauty I see in the world and even the people in this world! I had no idea just how dark the world was when I was drinking.
I see such beauty now in the very same places I never saw it before. Everything is brighter, the longer I am sober the better everything gets.
